In this annual series of parent education nights, parents at Starbright will be introduced to many aspects of child development, parenting issues, and educational theory. A wide variety of topics will be covered emphasizing children’s developmental needs and experiences both in the early childhood setting and at home.
Practical videos developed by PBS in association with Annenberg/CPB and Dr. JoAnne Hendricks will be presented. Dr. Kim Borgatta, a local early childhood specialist will be lecturing about the various topic areas addressed in the videos in addition to leading group discussions with parents.
