Starbright serves children from the ages of 3 months to 11 years old. An infant room serves up to 8 babies with
2 teachers who nurture and love your little ones. We have 2 classrooms for toddlers, one
for our youngest toddlers who range from 1-2 years old and one for older toddlers ranging from 2-3 years old.
Children in the 2-3 year old classroom are learning rudimentary social skills, toileting, self-help skills and
early preschool skills. Our 3 preschool classrooms meet the needs of 3-5 year olds. Our youngest preschoolers
are 3 years old. Their group suze is smaller than other oreschool classrooms with only 16 children in a group
with 2 teachers. Our next preschool room is for children from 3-4 years old and the older preschool classroom
is for children 4-5 years old. These classrooms
are developmentally oriented so that from time to time we mayhave a gifted 3-year old in the older preschool room.
A full-day kindergarten program meets the needs of both kindergarten students and older preschoolers who may show
readiness for kindergarten. Our school-age program is a very small personalized group of 25 children. They have their own
classroom with computers, a library, and both recreational and enrichment activities. Transportation to and from
several Everett and Mukilteo elementary schools is available for these first through fourth graders. Current schools
served are: Challenger, Olivia Park, Emerson, and Discovery elementary schools. Special Enrichment Classes: Music, Movement and Spanish All children enrolled on a full-time basis will participate in 2 specialized music and movement classes each week. Dr. Borgatta and David Hoffman are both specialists in music education for young children. Dr. Borgatta has instructed music education and creative dance to teachers at the college level for many years. Additionally Dr. Borgatta teaches Spanish twice a week for children in the Moonbeams, Satellites, Sun Rays, Starlights, and Meteorites classrooms.
